Hard Work and Patience
"At the young age of 18, I left the province off to Manila to work and to support my family back in Leyte. I worked for 3 long years in different factories as a contractual worker and even worked as a helper in the junk shop. I just then realized that if I only settle with what I was then, I know I would go nowhere thus I prayed and asked God for a signal of what was at stake for me. Then, I saw a Maintenance Technician who was able fix a broken machine. What he did had engrossed me to go back to school but I knew I could not afford the college tuition fee." -- Berlito Serut is a Batch A-29/30 (1995) alumnus. He is working as site superintendent at Saudi Aramco, Middle East
"Dualtech has given me so much. The skills to succeed in the real world; the values to be part of a workforce with a conscience; the strength of character to persevere, and definitely - friends. ... It has been a long, and at times not an easy path. As a wiseman once said…“ Success is not a destination; It’s not a completion of a task. Success is a journey, seeking and learning in each life’s situation. Constantly making ourselves better as human beings. Dualtech boys, you are all a success. You’re at Dualtech." -- Emmanuel “ Manny” A. Hatol Jr is currently the Senior Extrusion Process Engineer & Consultant at Medical Device Company in Florida, USA.
"I really wanted to become an artist, a painter because I had a talent in drawing. I was not inclined to doing technical works. My first two months of training made me hesitant. Without me knowing it, each day I went to Dualtech in Mantrade, I was learning things, very simple things that kept me going everyday. I told myself, what the heck with my drawing skills. The new things that I was learning and the training that Dualtech was giving was immeasurable. It etched in me, Tatak Dualtech. It changed my mind, I pursued Dualtech." -- Joel "Bronx" Labatete is currently the General Manager of Knight Auto Phils.
